Benefits and how to use Trello as a content library

Trello is a really useful tool for creating a content library for social media marketing, newsletters and blog planning

I am a huge Trello fan, and there are so many ways that you can create and use the boards to manage pretty much all parts of your busy life.

When I first started my social media pages and posting content, I had a folder of images, Excel spreadsheets, and Google Docs with quotes, tips, and ideas on content to create.

I found it hard to come up with content and keep track of what I was posting, which was time-consuming. That is when I discovered that I could use Trello to create my content library.

What is a content library?

A content library means having all your social media content organised in one place that you can reuse and repurpose easily.

With Trello, you could create a Content Library workspace, which means you can have up to 10 boards of content, for example, a social media content board, a blog board, a newsletter board, a video board, etc.

Each board can have several lists to separate the categories and topics. Trello makes it easier to see visually where there are gaps in your content when you are next creating content.

It is also a lot easier (for me) to plan my content on my social media calendar. I can look at my content library in the tips list or the motivation list and create a new post. I also use the labels and cover header images, which are useful if you are a visual person.
