How to use Background Remover in Canva

Did you know that Canva Pro has a Background Remover tool?

This is a great feature to use in Canva, and it easily takes out the background of any image. You can then use it as is or add in your own background within your design.

You can also add back in or remove additional sections after the background has been removed.

Here’s how to remove the background from an image in Canva.

1. Upload your image or choose one from the Canva image library
2. Select the image and click on Edit Image on the top toolbar
3. Select Background Remover on the left hand side toolbar
4. Click Erase to remove the background
5. Once the background has been removed, you can erase or restore any elements
6. When you are happy, click on Apply to save the changes
7. Move the image to where you want it on your design and continue designing.

There are free tools available to do this outside of Canva, but I did find this a bit of a game-changer when I upgraded to Canva Pro.
